On August 25, 2011, I was out backpacking when John M. Knapp, LMSW, my former cult-recovery therapist, began posting his public online defamation targeted at me and others in an attempt to smear his targets. Knapp posted his articles on his then non-profit website, thechsca.org. (The Center for Healing Spiritual and Cutlic Abuse)
My online friend, L*** N**, knew I was out backpacking. L*** informed Mo**** Pi******, PhD, that I was without internet service.
M***** nor I ever discussed the complaint I'd filed against Knapp in September, 2010, until after Knapp threw M***** and I together in his August, 2011, online false claims. Nor did we ever engage in cyberharassment against John Knapp, individually or together.
M***** read Knapp's online posts and then wrote Knapp privately addressing Knapp's highly unethical behavior. M***** was following proper ethical protocol. John Knapp tried to turn it into a battle and twists that she was cyberharrassing him. Knapp's public posts are mainly copies of some private email exchanges between Knapp and M*****.
More Ca*** We*** "Private" Fluff and Bluster from M***** P*******, PhFucking.Unemployed.D. (posted below) was Knapp's fourth public assault on M***** which he published on his CHSCA website. I think it was in "Private" Fluff that Knapp included both my and M*****'s photographs.
In "Private" Fluff Knapp parsed some of M*****'s past and twisted it to apply to the present. Knapp also used words from an anonymous poster who had engaged in part of an online smear campaign against M***** due in part to M******'s activism against attachment and other similar therapies involving coercive restraint of children.
M***** took active action against this (unrelated-to-Knapp) smear campaign here: M***** P*******: The Truth. M***** has excellent information on how to stand up to cyberbullying here: CYBER ABUSE AWARENESS.

I am not glad that Knapp chose M***** (or anyone) as his cyber-target. On the other hand, I doubt I could have had anyone better who decided (of her own accord and without my knowledge) to intervene on a client's behalf.

More Ca*** We*** "Private" Fluff and Bluster from M***** P*******, Ph.Fucking.Unemployed.D.

M***** P*******, Ph.D. and her colleague Carol W**** have been harrassing me for over a year in various ways that seem to this layperson’s eye to be tantamount to libel, defamation, and cyberstalking/terrorism.
M***** P*******, PhD is famous across the Idiotnet for her reputation, deserved or not, as being obsessed with attacking licensed mental health professioanals [sic] she disagrees with—and her inability to shut up. For instance, it’s mentioned here:
M***** P******* responds to any post about her, anywhere on the Internet.She’s a cult dingdong.She was in Scientology for years, and got to the point of believing in Xenu and the atom bombed volcanoes.Then she got involved in Thought Field Therapy, which claims to cure diseases by having the patient (!) tap (!) his or her body (!). There’s a more advanced version called Voice Technology where they do the diagnosis over the phone.Now M***** sees herself as a junior version of James Randi or Penn and Teller. She does kind of look like Penn.But, all she does is rant and rave. When she appears in court, it will be a complete circus.
Anyways, without further comment her latest ranting to me:

- This is a private message to John Knapp, LMSW. John, I followed the NASW Code of Ethics guidelines and contacted you PRIVATELY to express my concerns about your posting about your former clientl [sic]. That is not cyberstalking. That is proper exercising of my professional duty when I believe an ethical violation has occurred, to contact you personally, first, rather than report you directly to your state board. Rather than respond in a professional manner, you have instead chosen to take my private messages to you and make them public on your site’s webpage, threaten me and made ridiculous accusations against me.I am hereby informing you that I have done my duty of extending you the courtesy of contacting you privately to make you aware of my concerns about what I believe to be an ethical breach when you posted what you did about your former client. Since you obviously do not see the error of your ways, from now on, I will leave it to your state board to decide and simply send reports directly to your state board. Although you have stated your intention to leave the social work profession,since you haven’t done so yet, the NASW code of ethics still apply to you and I will act accordingly.
