For the Record: Part Twelve, Facebook Dialog Number Four

At the end of August, 2011, John M. Knapp, LMSW, my former cult-recovery therapist specializing in healing spiritual and cultic abuse, posted his Beware Ca*** W**** - Cyberstalker falsehoods on his then (now-defunct) non-profit website, thechsca.org, (The Center for Healing Spiritual and Cultic Abuse) and on his Facebook wall and others' Facebook walls, in an attempt to smear my character and in retaliation of me coming forward with my story regarding Knapp. In March, 2011, after Knapp opened his then non-profit, The Center for Healing Spiritual and Cultic Abuse, and began soliciting the public for people and for funds in the amount of $10,000, I went public online retracting my previous endorsements of Knapp. In June, 2011, I began coming forward publicly with my personal Knapp story.

Knapp had gotten in his head that he was being cyberstalked, cyberterrorized, cyberharassed, and that I had recruited others in a campaign against him.  None of which were true.

What follows is a continuation of Knapp's delusional discussions on Facebook, the first of which he posted on August 25, 2011. He begins the following Facebook thread on August 26, 2011, at 9:08 pm. It is the fourth of five similar Facebook threads started by Knapp.

Knapp had begun his harassment on Mo**** P******* on August 25. She addressed him privately and Knapp took it all public and began his outrageous claims and false accusations. M***** never engaged in "incessant private messages."

Knapp was the one cyberharassing which is obvious in his many online displays.

Knapp was the one being enabled by people who trusted him and believed him. I would have been right with them defending Knapp had the roles been reversed. I too at one time trusted him and had previously defended him on multiple occasions on the internet.

Within a couple weeks of August 26, 2011, Knapp turns on some of his supporters and they too become victims of his verbal rage and twisted accusations.

Around the same time that Knapp was engaging this online conversation, he was also being taken to small claims court in the city where he then resided, Malone, NY. A previous employee was suing him for non-payment. The court ruled in favor of the employee. Knapp was served the judgement, and then he skipped state. He never paid that previous employee. The judgement is still outstanding as of December, 2012.

I finally had to block Mo**** P*******'s incessant private messages despite my clear desire to only converse publicly.

With luck my Twitter and Facebook streams can return to more or less normal now.

At least you guys have an idea of what I've been putting up with since August 2010 from Carol W**** and since at least January 2010 from Mo**** P*******, Ph.D.

All you ever had to do, John was ask me to stop contacting you privately and I would have stopped. On the contrary, you kept responding to me and encouraged me to keep responding to you, then you cry victim. No worries, though, I will never contact you privately again. I was following the protocol outlined in the NASW Code of Ethics to contact you first but since you are not amenable to discussion, if I have any further concerns I will directly take them to your state board. And yes, as long as you continue to put the initials LMSW after your name, these reports are appropriate.

So the fuck what, M*****? Report me. I've been answering that one, stupid, hollow threat you have the same way for months. GO FOR IT MBITCH! (MBITCH is an attempt at a nonsexist, but nonetheless rude name, for a certain kind of readily identifiable asshole.)

For that matter, you've been up to your hairy armpits in the C**** W**** cyberstalking crusade for so long and threatening me implicitly or explicitly with loss of my license that we both know too things:

1) You've already done what you can in that regard. You can't hurt me anymore—or less—than you have already. So you're wasting your breath with that tired threat. I've already considered my goals, weighed my consequences, and decided going for broke to stop you and others like you is definitely worth it.

2) I AM an LMSW until I am not. When the state takes away my license I'll switch over to something more exotic.
